AAM’s board of directors met on July 17-18 to review the company’s latest initiatives. One action was taken regarding magazine digital issues, and three new board members were announced.

Double opt in eliminated for verified magazine digital issues

Rule F 17.2 Digital Issue Subscriptions and Single-Issue Sales used to require consumers to opt in and acknowledge a confirmation email for digital issues to count as verified circulation. The board determined the double opt-in process is no longer necessary. Effective immediately, verified magazine digital issues and subscriptions require only a single opt in.
