feb2024-new-data

February 2024 is shaping up to be a month of new data from more publishers. Since the March 2023 merger with BPA Worldwide, more than 250 additional titles have released reports and data in the Media Intelligence Center, creating a single data destination for media buyers to find audited publishers.

Here is an overview of what’s new and where you can find it.

BPA Titles Now Reporting Data Via AAM

Publishers that were previously BPA members are now reporting data via AAM, which gives media buyers access to all publisher data in one place. Current data is available in the Periodical Analyzer, and five years of historical BPA reports are also available in the Media Intelligence Center.

More Titles Added to Snapshot Reports

Snapshot reports provide a great overview of the print and digital circulation for the latest reporting period. There are now nearly 300 titles in the December 2023 Business/Farm Snapshot report, which includes top-line paid and qualified nonpaid circulation.

The Magazine Snapshot report for the December 2023 period includes single-copy and subscription figures for paid, verified and nonpaid circulation for more than 200 titles.

Both Snapshot Reports are available for download in Excel from AAM’s Media Intelligence Center under the Reports & Tools menu.

New Website Data, More Often

January 2024 website data for more than 100 URLs has been added to the Cross-Media Analyzer. With a new, streamlined method of reporting client web data, new website metrics for AAM publishers will be released on the fifth of every month.

Quarterly ZIP Code Data for Targeted Media Buys

With the recent rule giving newspapers the option to file digital circulation by ZIP code, media buyers now have more opportunities to target their digital spend. ZIP code data for the quarter ending December 2023 is available in the Newspaper Analyzer and Distribution Map in AAM’s Media Intelligence Center.

Free Quarterly Magazine Audience Data

The quarterly Magazine Media 360° report measures magazine audiences across multiple platforms and formats, including print and digital editions, desktop and mobile websites and video. The Q4 2023 edition includes 74 titles from 23 publishing companies. You can download the report free from AAM’s website, as well as view the top 10 U.S. magazine media brand audiences.

All AAM clients have unlimited access to the Media Intelligence Center. Don’t have a username and password? Fill out this quick form to get started.
